Business Meeting Thursday November 2

The MVSS monthly business meeting will be held this Thursday evening, November 2, at 6:30 PM at the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish office, 2715 Northrise Drive, Las Cruces.

November 5-Stand SUNDAY November 5

The November 5-Stand shoot will be this Sunday (not Saturday), November 5, at 9:00

Paul Giambrone Skeet Instructor March 3-6 2024

Again Mr. Paul Giambrone will be giving his acclaimed skeet clinic at our range March 3-6. This will be our 6th year of hosting this clinic. To make this accessible we’ve added an extra day. Club Shoot and Season Championships

Sunday October 22 we held our trap and skeet club championship for 2023.

We had 6 trap shooters with a purse of $30 ish for champ and each class winners A—D. After a shoot off the champion was Dorothy, A Carl, B Phil, C-Mike, and D-Rich. Come on we need more trap shooters.

No open Skeet Sunday October 22

Trap will be open to everyone at approximately 9:30 after trap club shoot is finished. Skeet will only be open to skeet shooters who are participating in skeet club shoot starting at approximately 9:30

Skeet/Trap Club Shoot Finals — October 22

Trap 50 targets starting at 8:30. Skeet 100 targets starting 9:45 ish. Lunch, awards and distribution of prize money after skeet.

Remember that you will need to have shot 150 targets in trap to be in trap finals and the same applies to skeet. Any questions call  Preston 586-215-3060.

MVSS will open its sporting clays field on Saturday, October 21, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
