This Sunday will be the first skeet club shoot of the year. We will open at 8:30 for registration and practice rounds. Would like to start 9ish.You will have a choice of shooting 50 or 100 rounds. The fees are $24 or $48 respectively. Remember all shooters are classed and handicapped. Any Questions call Preston [read more] This last weekend, Friday January 12, Saturday the 13th, and Sunday the 14th, MVSS hosted the biggest shoot ever held at our range. With over 90 youth competitors from all over New Mexico and over 30,000 targets thrown, trap plus handicap and doubles, skeet and skeet doubles, and sporting clays. Our local group that many [read more] Mesilla Valley Shotgun Sports is hosting the New Mexico High School Clay Target Association’s state-wide event on January 12, 13, and 14. Nearly a hundred young shooters from all over New Mexico will participate in skeet, trap (including handicap and doubles), and sporting clays. I am sorry but it doesn’t seem to be enough interest in a skeet league to move forward at this time. Some feedback I have received suggested we do it when it’s warmer.
