Sporting Clays Saturday, March 16

Mesilla Valley Shotgun Sports will open its sporting clays field on Saturday, March 16, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, for the first time in 2024.

The new procedures will be in place for this shoot. Please review the following and arrive early enough to be at your assigned station by 9:00.

March Club Trap Shoots Wednesday March 13 and Sunday March 17

This Wednesday 8:30 open practice and registration start 9ish for 1st March club trap shoot. Sunday will be 2nd club trap shoot. Yes you can shoot in each one but Sunday green is in order. Preston 586-215-3060

Help Needed Moving Targets March 9

We need to move about a hundred cases of targets from sporting clays to the trap houses.

If you’re able and available this Saturday, March 9, please meet at the main MVSS storage building at 11:00 AM

Business Meeting March 7

The MVSS monthly business meeting will be held this Thursday evening, March 7, at 6:30 PM at the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish office, 2715 Northrise Drive, Las Cruces.

Shotgun Salute to Mike Slugaj February 18

As many are aware we lost a founding member of our club a few days before Christmas. Mike Slugaj was a competitive skeet shooter, for the fun of it trap shooter, and just a good guy at the range. One of his proudest accomplishments was the acknowledgment by NSSA of shooting 50,000 registered targets.
