Our Sporting Clays venue will be setup this coming Saturday, June 20, from 9:00 a.m. until Noon. The shotgun range will begin our usual hours of operation after June 15. So, the range will not open on Tuesday, June 16, and Thursday, June 18, but will open on Wednesday, June 17, Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21. Status Through June 15 This is where we stand today. The city has opened the pistol bays on the Butterfield Shooting Range from 8-11 and 5-8 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. For now we will be allowed by the City to open the shotgun range on Thursdays (starting tomorrow, May 28) and Saturdays from 9-12. In keeping with the mandates put forth by the Governor of New Mexico the Southwestern Shotgunners Trap Club will be requiring ALL members to wear a mask while on the property starting Saturday May 16.
