Mesilla Valley Shotgun Sports will open our 5-Stand field this Saturday, March 2, from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. Come out and see our new rabbit machine and try to hit one.

MVSS will open its sporting clays field on Saturday, February 17, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

As many are aware we lost a founding member of our club a few days before Christmas. Mike Slugaj was a competitive skeet shooter, for the fun of it trap shooter, and just a good guy at the range. One of his proudest accomplishments was the acknowledgment by NSSA of shooting 50,000 registered targets.

The Wednesday, February 7 club trap shoot was cancelled due to the weather. It is being postponed to Wednesday, February 14 at the same time.
Because of the high wind forecast for Saturday, the 5-Stand field will open on Sunday, February 4, instead of Saturday. Hours will still be 9:00AM – Noon.
We will be featuring our club trap shoots February 7 with a little different scheduling. Each month’s event will have two shoot dates. The final results for each month will be determined after the second shoot. This is being done in the hopes of attracting more trap shooters. The second shoot will be February 11. [read more]
This Sunday will be the first skeet club shoot of the year. We will open at 8:30 for registration and practice rounds. Would like to start 9ish.You will have a choice of shooting 50 or 100 rounds. Mesilla Valley Shotgun Sports is hosting the New Mexico High School Clay Target Association’s state-wide event on January 12, 13, and 14. Nearly a hundred young shooters from all over New Mexico will participate in skeet, trap (including handicap and doubles), and sporting clays.
