The Southwestern Shotgunners Trap Club will be hosting our 22nd Annual Dick Walter registered shoot on September 17 and 18, 2016. The weather this time of year is perfect for shooting so please plan to join us. We do have dry camping spots available. Set up will begin around 7:30 a.m. and any help would be appreciated. The August sporting clays date has changed. Instead of the normal 3rd Saturday of the month it has been moved to the 4th Saturday 8/27 because of a conflict with the State Sporting Clays competition. The Thunderbird Open Skeet Shoot will be presented by the High Desert Sportsmen in Albuquerque, August 5-7. The sixth annual Host Lions Club trap shoot, supporting Lions Crane Reading Foundation, eye exams for children, and other local programs, will be held October 15, 2016.
