Skeet Sunday May 22

We have a skeet field down waiting parts and our Skeet Club Shoot is Sunday. We may not be able to accommodate any non skeet club shoot shooters until 10:30 or so as we don’t know the amount of participation the shoot will attract. Sorry for the inconvenience

May Club Trap Shoot

May Monthly Meeting

MVSS will hold its May business meeting at 6:30 PM on Thursday, May 5, at the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish office, 2715 Northrise Drive, Las Cruces.

Everyone is invited to attend.

5 Stand

Mesilla Valley Shotgun Sports will open the 5 Stand field this Saturday,
May 7, from 9:00 AM until noon.

May Club Trap Shoot Moved to May 15

The May club trap shoot was mistakenly scheduled for Mother’s Day.  It has now been moved to May 15.

April Skeet Shoot Report

We had 12 shooters in attendance including three of our junior shooters. Laughs around but two of the juniors won theclasses they were shooting in, plus one of them also took the Calcutta. The wind was reasonable but enough to give some of the adults an excuse.

Trap Shoot I

Our first trap club shoot went well even with the winds. We had 9 shooters, Fritz with a 48 didn’t notice the wind, other shooters suffered. Busy Skeet Range April 9

The skeet range may be very busy with 4H and high school youth shooters and Senior Olympics. Fields may not be available until later in morning. Preston will strive to update this situation should it improve.

New Construction at the Range!

We’ve been improving the range!  The photos below show the new sidewalks at the trap fields, and the work in progress for the skeet safety walls, which will be complete Monday, April 4.
