The MVSS sporting clays crew would like to have some help setting up the course for this Saturday’s shoot, and some help tearing it down afterwards.

Remarkable shooting weather this last Sunday for our July event. George and Tom won A-AA the 2 fifty bird events with Tom also the Calcutta champ. B class won by Phil, with C and D won by Mike and Rich respectively. Some good scores were posted and some of if I’d only. Hope to see [read more]

July Club Trap Shoot

Last Sunday we had 10 determined trap shooters. There were no ties or shoot-offs this month and we had shooters in A-D class, every class had a winner! Come and join us next month for our August 14 shoot.

Sport Shooting During Registered Skeet Shoot

We should have at least one skeet field available Saturday and Sunday for open shooting during our registered skeet shoot.

Sporting Clays June 18

Thank you to everyone who shot sporting clays yesterday. We think the new  procedures worked pretty well, it was the smoothest shoot we’ve ever had.

Club Trap Shoot

Due to good planning and masterful forklift operation by President Phillip  Pruett, some strong, young help from Bullseye 4-H and SCTP, and several  club members, all of the new targets have put away.

Target Delivery Friday — Help Needed

The club is receiving a shipment of targets on Friday and we need help  distributing them to the skeet and trap houses and storage areas.

We’ll have a forklift to move the pallets but need help moving boxes of  targets into the houses.
