To all,

Good morning to all, wanted to send out congrats to the MVSS High School Trap and Skeet team for this Months Zone/Virtual SCTP/High School.

The team started off with singles, and was led by 75 straight πŸ‘ by Dylan to take 1st with a 97 πŸ₯‡, Caleb and Tyler crushed 95 each for 2nd and 3rd place πŸ₯‰πŸ… , Kyle with 91, and Grady 87. This round started off great shooting weekend.🀳🀳🀳🀳🀳

Then we moved to handicaps with Caleb still pounding the clays with a 96 ,1st placeπŸ₯‡ , Dylan tied at 90 for 2nd place but tie breaker ended up 4th, Kyle with a strong showing of 87.

Final trap event was Doubles, with Dillion 1st place with 86, (47 out 50 in second round) πŸ₯‡ Caleb only one bird behind with a 85 and second place πŸ₯ˆ, Kyle strong showing at 78, Tyler 76, and Grady 63. Best overall team doubles score of the year. Awesome🀳 .

The most improved trap shooter this week goes to Kyle Wysong, he was consistent in all 3 areas, and shot his best in several events. Great shooting Kyle. πŸ‘Œ

Congrats to all these trap shooters, this is not our top score for the year, we are just getting hitting or stride.

The next event skeet started off with very cold breezy Sunday, but ended up shedding all their jackets by time we finished. Dylan led the team with a 94 1st placeπŸ₯‡πŸ† , and Tyler second place with 93 ( First time shooting his 28 gauge tubes)πŸ₯ˆπŸ‘ , Caleb in 4th place 88 with a borrowed gun that he had some issues πŸ‘Œ . Overall, top team in skeet again this month. πŸ†

Our lone intermediate shooter in skeet this weekend was Carter, with a 63 and 5th place finished. Carter shot several great rounds this weekend, and he is going to put it together by the end of the year to have a shot at the top. πŸ‘Œ

Great shooting by the youth this month. Congrats on your accomplishments. We missed everyone that was not able to shoot this month, look forward to having everyone back for the March Shoot the 6th and 7th. Location to be determined.

The Bullseye Foundation is hoping and planning to hold and participate in events in 2021 to help get our youth shooting regularly again. Our organization is focused on well-rounded youth development, consists of children and young adults ages six to 19. Members in our club are from all walks of life, and from the city of Las Cruces to the rural areas of Dona Ana County. With a goal of creating sportsmen and women educated in competitive shooting and hunter safety, our club participates in 4-H county, regional, state and national shooting events. We also participate at the state and national level in the Youth Hunters Education Challenge.

In an effort to provide our club members with the resources needed to compete in these events, we host two regional archery competitions. The Heartbreaker 3-D Archery Shoot held at Red Hawk Golf Club, will be February 13-14, 2021 in Las Cruces, NM. The Thunderbird 3-D Archery Shoot will be held at Camp of the Tall Pines near Mayhill, NM, June 18-20, 2021. These are both great family events where youth and grandparents, family and friends meet for the weekend, enjoy the competition, and further their interests in shooting sports and outdoor activities.

We are requesting from local businesses, donations of items to be used in our raffle, and/or, monetary contributions (if preferred). Any assistance your company can provide would be greatly appreciated. A monetary donation of $100 or more earns a sponsor advertising sign at one of the shooting stations at both the Heartbreaker and Thunderbird 3-D Archery Shoot. In addition to the sign, your business will receive advertising on our Facebook pages for these events.

It is through the generous contributions of individuals and companies, such as yours, that we are able to provide quality learning opportunities to the youth involved in our program. The positive experiences and skills learned through Bullseye Youth Sportsman Club last a lifetime.

If you would like any additional information, feel free to contact the officers below. Monetary donations can mailed PO Box 1198, Anthony, NM 88021. Thank you in advance for supporting the youth of Bullseye.
