Update December 3: The shotgun range will be closed today, Saturday, December 3, due to inclement weather. We plan to open tomorrow, Sunday, December, 4, and have a soft 5-Stand setup. At the 5-stand venue, we will be giving away hams and tokens for those who break flash targets.
Our 5-Stand venue will be setup on both Saturday, Dec. 3, and Sunday Dec. 4. The Saturday setup will be designed for newcomers to the sport and will be setup straight forward with relatively easy (according to Mark) targets. This will allow those folks who have never shot 5-Stand, or are frustrated with 5-Stand to gain confidence and learn the intricacies of how to setup and where to look for the targets. Advice will be available. This will also allow the highly competent 5-Stand shooters a chance to “easily” break 25 targets. Then, Sunday will be the normal, Mark setup.
